Jim Farrell is the founder of PRfirst, which has helped businesses and organizations gain positive media coverage since 1998. Prior to launching PRfirst, Jim was the publisher of several weekly newspapers on the South Shore of Massachusetts, and then worked in public relations/marketing for two area companies.

PRfirst is a six-person agency located in Hanover, MA, serving clients throughout New England and beyond. The company’s leadership team hails from the newspaper and media world. They know and understand the needs of the news media and they understand how to match a client’s news and expertise to those media needs.

Jim serves on the Board of Directors for the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and the Kingston Business Association. He is a former member of the Kingston (MA) Housing Authority and the Kingston Public Library Foundation.
